The Plus Project: Susie Blackmon

Today I’ve selected +Susie Blackmon. Susie lives in Florida and blogs extensively on Horses and western lifestyle at a multitude of sites. She grew up on a cattle ranch, raised and showed Quarter horses, and was a TWA Fly Girl in the early 1970’s (based out of my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri). With over 16,000 followers Susie tweets consistently @SusieBlackmon about social media, SEO, and of course, horses. She was named one of Zillow’s 2010 Real Estate Twitterati, and with a Klout score of 70, it’s no surprise that she routinely responds to posts and has a high level of engagement. She posts absolutely stunning photos at ocalalicious.com, and I have to say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone wear a snakeskin jacket quite so well. Susie is an incredible woman with a history that reads like an adventure story, so you’d be remiss not to check her out!
